Dynamic and innovative leader with a diverse background in creative psychotherapy, entrepreneurship, and community development. I am a creative psychotherapist, coach and entrepreneur, bringing over 15 years of experience in business development, leading impactful community projects, and empowering individuals to thrive. I have over 7 years experience in mentoring others, and 4 years working in therapy practice. I work with the head and heart, and my style is working honestly and compassionately. I am based in Scotland, but work with clients internationally.
I have successfully designed and implemented diverse initiatives, such as a social enterprise café, a charity, an upcycle shop and a city wide partnership, which exemplify my ability to create innovative solutions that support both individual and community growth. A qualified art psychotherapist with coaching training, I excel in fostering personal growth, building resilient teams, and driving positive change.
I combine strategic vision with hands-on implementation. My expertise includes leadership development, mentoring, project management, and business strategy. Committed to sustainability, inclusion, and innovation, I thrive on creating opportunities for individuals and communities to grow and succeed. My training, placements, work experience and life experience equips me with the tools to foster resilience, creativity, and connection in team environments.
I have pursued extensive training to deepen my expertise in coaching, psychotherapy, and psychology. I completed NLP Coaching, Executive Coaching, and Coaching for Counsellors courses to enhance my ability to support individuals in leadership, business, and career development. I hold an MSc in Art Psychotherapy (Merit), where I gained practical experience through two placements: working with children in a school and setting up a new service in an open prison. My dissertation focused on using artistic interventions to support workplace wellbeing and team dynamics. Additionally, I earned a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling, receiving a first-class degree, while also starting a social enterprise. My dissertation explored the impact of arts programs on the wellbeing of elderly adults, and I completed a COSCA-approved Counselling Certificate as part of this qualification.
I participate in regular supervision, hold therapy insurance, and engage in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of practice.
